In February 2013, founder Chris Savage received a single-serve tea maker and realized there was a gap—no sweetened tea pods. A curious engineer by training, with prototypes made at George Mason University, he tinkered until he infused honey into tea pods—melding convenience with flavor. A successful Kickstarter launched the brand. Four years later, the team introduced tea bags—each filled with double the usual tea ingredients and real honey granules, no artificial flavorings.
