Star Naming Discount Codes & Deals for November 2026

Some gifts are about the object; this one is about the gesture. Star Naming lets you pick out a star, give it a name that means something, and wrap the whole thing up as a keepsake - a certificate, a star map showing exactly where "your" star sits, and an app that helps you find it in the night sky. It is a sentimental present rather than a practical one, and that is precisely the point.

What you're actually giving

The gift comes in a few tiers, and they mostly differ by presentation and extras rather than the core idea. The entry option gives you a named star with the certificate and star-map pack. Step up and you can choose a star within a specific constellation - handy if the recipient has a birth sign or a constellation that means something to them. There is a two-star option built for couples, where a pair of stars sit together, and a premium gift set that layers in extras like a framed certificate and additional keepsakes for a proper occasion present.

Every package leans on the same emotional hook: a named point of light you can go outside and look up at, backed by a personalised certificate and, in most cases, an augmented-reality app that points you to it. For a lot of buyers the app is the surprise winner - it turns an abstract idea into something you can actually show someone on a clear night.

A note on what this is (and isn't)

Worth being straight about: naming a star this way is a symbolic, sentimental act, not an official scientific designation - the name lives in a private registry and on your certificate, not in an astronomer's catalogue. That does not make it any less meaningful as a gift; people love it because of what it represents, the same way a personalised anything carries weight beyond the object. Going in with that understanding just means you buy it for the right reasons - the sentiment, the presentation, the moment someone opens it.

When it lands best

Star Naming shines for the occasions where words matter more than stuff. Anniversaries and engagements are the obvious ones - the couples' two-star option is made for exactly that. It is also a genuinely thoughtful memorial gift, a way to mark someone who has passed with a fixed point in the sky. Milestone birthdays, a new baby, a long-distance "I'm thinking of you" - anywhere a keepsake beats another gadget, this fits. Because there is a digital version, it can also rescue a last-minute occasion when there is no time for post.

Buying it for less

The premium sets and couples' options carry the most extras, so if budget matters, the mid tier usually hits the sweet spot of presentation without the top-end price. Star Naming runs promotions around the big gifting windows - Valentine's, Christmas, Mother's and Father's Day - so timing a purchase to those helps. Whatever tier you choose, add a current November 2026 code from the offers above at checkout; on a gift set that discount is a nice bit back in your pocket.

Making the moment land

A gift like this is as much about how it is given as what it is. Because the certificate and star map are the physical part, they present beautifully - so it is worth handing them over somewhere you can talk about the why, rather than in a rush. Pairing the star with the reason behind it - a shared memory, an anniversary date, a person being remembered - is what turns a nice certificate into something people keep for years. If you are gifting the couples' two-star option, the story of the two stars sitting together tends to do the emotional work for you. And do not overlook the app on the night: actually stepping outside and finding the star together is often the bit people remember long after the box is put away.
