Flowers Fast Discount Codes — Same-Day Flower Delivery

Flowers Fast has been an online florist since 1997 and is an FTD Top 100 Member, offering same-day flower delivery. Flowers are one of the few purchases where the delivery mechanics matter as much as the product, and knowing how a florist network actually works is what stops an order going wrong on a date you cannot move.

How a Florist Network Delivers

An order placed here is typically fulfilled by a local florist near the recipient rather than shipped in a box from a warehouse. That is the reason same-day delivery is possible at all, and it has two practical consequences worth knowing.

First, arrangements are made by hand from what that florist has fresh, so the bouquet may differ slightly from the photograph — substitutions of similar flowers in the same style and colour are normal in the trade, not a mistake. Second, flowers arrive arranged and ready rather than in a box for the recipient to assemble, which matters if you are sending to someone elderly, in hospital or at an office.

Ordering for Same-Day Delivery

Same-day works but it has a cut-off time, and the florist needs enough of the working day left to arrange and drive. Order in the morning where you can. Sundays and public holidays are limited, and the days around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are the busiest in the calendar — on those, same-day may be unavailable at any hour.

Get the delivery address exactly right, including apartment or ward numbers and a phone number for the recipient. A florist who cannot get in or cannot reach anyone is the single most common cause of a failed delivery, and flowers are not something that can sit on a doorstep for hours.

Choosing Flowers That Last

Longevity varies enormously by stem. Chrysanthemums, carnations and alstroemeria are among the longest lasting and will often go a fortnight. Roses and lilies are shorter but carry more occasion. Tulips and hydrangeas are beautiful and among the least durable.

If the flowers are for a hospital, check the ward first — some units do not allow them at all, and strongly scented lilies are frequently discouraged. For a sympathy delivery, a plant or an arrangement in its own container is more practical than a wrapped bouquet the family has to find a vase for at a difficult moment.

Making Them Last Once They Arrive

The advice is simple and genuinely works: trim the stems at an angle before they go in water, change the water every two days, and keep the vase away from direct sun, radiators and — the one people miss — fruit bowls, because ripening fruit gives off ethylene which makes flowers fade faster. Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline, since they rot and shorten the life of everything in the vase.

How to Save at Flowers Fast

• Apply a current Flowers Fast code from the offers above at checkout.
• Order ahead of peak dates — Valentine's and Mother's Day pricing and availability are both worst on the day.
• Choose long-lasting stems for value rather than the most delicate blooms.
• Send a plant or arrangement where the recipient may not have a vase to hand.
• Check the same-day cut-off before assuming an afternoon order will arrive.

Best Time to Buy at Flowers Fast

Flower pricing peaks sharply around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, when demand outstrips supply industry-wide. Ordering a few days early is both cheaper and far more reliable than ordering on the date itself. Browse more gift and flower discount codes and food and drink offers for November 2026.

Sending Flowers to a Workplace

Office deliveries have their own pitfalls. Include the company name and any reception details, and consider that flowers arriving at a workplace are a public event — welcome for a celebration, less so for something private.

Time it for a working day rather than a Friday afternoon, when the recipient may leave before delivery and the flowers sit over a weekend. If you do not know whether the person will be in, sending to a home address is the safer choice.

What to Send for Different Occasions

A few conventions genuinely help. Bright mixed bouquets suit celebrations and new babies. Plants and orchids last far longer than cut flowers and suit a new home or a thank you. White and cream arrangements are the traditional sympathy choice in many cultures — though customs vary considerably, so if you are sending across cultures it is worth a moment's thought rather than assuming.

Write the card message carefully; it is the part the recipient keeps, and it is easy to rush at checkout.
